As everyone's noticed, there's a new headmaster in town (that being yours truly), but to get things really going in the academy, I need some people to do some advertising of the site at www.yugioh-deck.com and any other yugioh site that's around. If you guys can do that, post here where you'll be advertising at, okay?

Let's show them that tho Spirit Academy may be down, we're certainly not out, and like the mythical Phoenix, we WILL rise once again! :D

I could be the Acadamy head, since I'm already a moderator at another forum I'm part of. Hopefully, this doesn't mean I can't also be Slifer Red's favorite Headmaster as well.

Yup. :) I mean, this isn't like one of those live-action tournaments that some of us go to. In fact, a lot of us just like to have fun (as we've seen with me, for those of you who have dueled me before, that is). Some people (and I'm not naming names here, just to be nice) sometimes make it seem like it's all serious, even when people make mistakes or bow out gracefully (like I did during one of my tournament duels) which makes the game not fun anymore. Let's try to remember what "Yu-Gi-Oh" actually stood for in the anime and manga (as in, the meaning throughout, not what the name means), and that was friendship. They also had a lot of honor during some of the duels, even tho there were several times that people were cheating as well.

What YugiDuelist forgot to mention there is that you have to register a deck, and it has to abide by Upper Deck's guidelines. Also, if you go to www.yugioh-deck.com , you can create your decks there and also see what cards are limited and/or banned... Oh, and one important note: Make sure you have the cards you are putting in your deck when you're makin' a deck. Remember, people ARE dueling in this acadamy, not just talking.
